SCADA, Data Logging & Trending
Supervisory control & data acquisition, control system data logging, machine and plant trending. Intelligent maintenance.
Fairburns control department design and install SCADA systems including installation of signal hardware (input and output), controllers, networks, user interfaces (HMI), communications equipment and software. Once pieced together the SCADA systems are configured to monitor data from various sensors that are either in close proximity or off site (sometimes miles away).
The brains of a SCADA system are performed by Remote Terminal Units (sometimes referred to as the RTU). The Remote Terminals are tailored to specific requirements, most RTU allow human intervention where necessary, though most SCADA systems are set to respond automatically to changes in manufacturing. Key processes of our SCADA systems are real time monitoring of entire systems, data logging for statistical analysis with time stamp and history. Data acquisitions include meter reading, checking sensor statuses, flow rates, power monitoring and many more.
Fairburns also specialise in systems data logging and trending for predictive / preventative maintenance and full analytical history for continual process improvement
