The Marine Department services all types of electrical work, undertaking repairs, surveys, refits and installations, with work carried out at any location at home or abroad, shore-side or at sea, including a 24-hour service. Acting as consultants to the Crown Agents, Fairburns have carried out several Admiralty and MoD contracts, including major conversion work. The department has also completed many commercial marine contracts, including new installation works, updating IMO regulations on passenger ships and upgrading of fire detection systems to meet new standards
